Poof! Dandelions on an early spring morning- Day 2 daily paintings for June. And poof, they are gone, twirling in the wind…twirling, blowing, spinning ….  Driving through my neighborhood on my way to school, there is a stretch of land that is unmanicured. The grass by the road's edge grows and grows. Early in the summer, it is filled with dandelions. I just had to capture this memory of being a kid, sitting on a bus, driving through the neighborhood and wondering why no one mows this grass. I'm glad they don't. Attempting to paint a memory everyday in June. I love June- the start of summer with all the promise of fun and adventure ahead. As a teacher, June is the month we LOVE! Fun projects, kids in good moods and the start of VACATION!
